Longbeard #4 down- the bird I took a photo of in the "king of the road thread". This the longbeard I have seen all spring but haven't really hunted met a heavy load of 5 shot this morning.started a mile away, but didn't hear a gobble. Headed back to where I have been seeing this ol guy near another rd. Got to a field and saw him swell up. Had 4 hens with him. Backed out and looped around and bellied crawled the last 80 yards. He was in full strut when I eased into position. He strutted through an opening and that was it. 22.5lbs, 10.75 beard and 1 1/16 spurs. 3 year old bird. I almost hated to go after this guy, but this is my first ever longbeard limit. He only gobbled once and I never called.

That is the one hillbilly. U saw him sat and I saw him yesterday afternoon. He just got a little 2 predictable. I have to learn to call by next year. Now time to cut him into turkey fries. Yum yum.

Been a great season for sure. I learned you don't have to be a good caller to kill toms, but it sure would have been easier if I could call better.
