Kayak Questions

My wife and I are getting each other kayaks for Christmas. We will probably buy something cheap on Black Friday. I was hoping someone with experience had some advice on what to get, best deal, your opinion on sitin or sit on, etc. We will mostly be paddling islands on Watts Bar but I will probably do a little fishing on the Hiwassee and slower rivers. I may even use it for waterfowl on short solo trips.

My Girlfriend and I got into kayaking this year and love it. We both have sit ins. Mine is an Ascend from Bass Pro and hers came from Academy Sports. As far as bang for the buck hers was a great deal at under $300. Good luck.

If you want a sit on top then get a Vibe. I bought a Vibe Ghost for myself and a Vibe Skipjack for my wife.
