a batch of 460grain conicals for my White G-series from Bull Shop Bullets�I am stoked as these things are supposed to be the absolute cat's meow!

I can't shoot that light of a load and if I do it's all over the place, plus my bore is bigger than a standard .50cal�.504 to be exact.

What White's Muzzleloader are you shooting? I have a MTI (WHITE's) Model 97 Whitetail Hunter. It is a .504 bore as well.

Spikes, mine is the White G-Series Whitetail. From what I've read there is very little difference in the 97 and the G-series and both shoot the same loads�70 grains-80 grains( give or take a little) of 777 2f with a super heavy conical on top with bullet holes stacked at ranges over 100yds without ever swabbing the barrel...that's why white shooters are called dirty white boys!
I've been doing a lot of homework over the last year on these things. I have shot everything out of this White these last several years, and the 405gr lead powerbelt did the best out of anything I have shot out of it, but I was far from happy. I think I have finally solved the mystery to getting a decent group.....get away from the mass-market bullets that are too small.
