Just Minutes Ago....

We left Old Hickory with a catch of 13 bass,one catfish on a ShadRap and a walleye on a worm??? All were released.

I can still battle the big ones. The fight lasted over 5-minutes on the 8-pound line. The scales showed hinm at just over 9-pounds.

Lures included: Fluke, Shallo ShadRap, purple lizzard and buzzbait.

Over five minutes. He pulled the boat around. First time I ever saw a catfish jump. Fish were crazy yesterday.

Not really. Typical OH bass, couple good ones, the rest right on the line. Crappie are red hot right now. Funny thing, we talked to two fishermen Thursday that had killed them all week but did zip Thursday. Then I got home and a friend called me and he wore them out Thursday in Bartons Creek.

Spots on dorsal = sauger

No spots on dorsal, white stripe on lower caudal fin = walleye

I never even looked at it, just took the pic. Truth is, didn't make any difference to me. Man that caught said walleye. Good enough for me.

But if you think my fish ID stinks, take a look at the pic in the thread, "Walleye". One of them is a bass.
