Memorial Day weekend I got to take my family down to Gulf Shores. I've always fished the pier but decided to try to get a charter as my nephews have never caught anything bigger than a 5lb catfish. I usually miss the snapper season, so it was a big surprise that we would be down the same weekend the state snapper season opened. To say we had a great time is an understatement! Cliff with Off the Hook Charters out of Fort Morgan put us on the fish, it was a wet ride back to the dock as a few storms set in, but couldn't have had a better morning.

It is, he had a group on the other boat that caught a few good ones as well.

We fished with him last fall. Just a basic inshore trip there pretty close to the marina but it was a lot of fun.
