July garden update (with pics)

First harvest

Already growing - butternut squash, tomatoes, cantaloupe, peppers (ghost, cayenne, jalapeï¿½o), eggplant, cucumbers. Just planted recently - more cantaloupe, okra, pumpkins, bush beans. This is a community garden so the corn in the background isn't mine.

looking great, but needs weeds mowed again ASAP. Couldn't keep up with weeds without a weed eater.

July 27th pics -

Might have to do some hand weeding around the cantaloupe and squash. Lots of young cantaloupe fruits and plenty of butternut as well, can't wait.

Bigger tomatoes started ripening, cayennes starting to load up, pumpkin vines taking off, cucumbers still producing, basil going strong (made some pesto today) and eggplants look ready to bloom very soon. Got a little bare space as seen in 2nd pic, not sure what to put there yet.
