Ive got a 1989 japanese browning a5. 30 inch barrel that takes invector chokes. Comes with one choke, I think its just aN IC. Its not a perfect gun, I bought it to take duck hunting this year. Bought an ax800 instead and trying to clear up some room in the safe. Would consider trades. Looking for sub gauages mostly for my kids to shoot.

I see the barrel has made in Japan. However the buttstock has the rounded pistol grip so it's older than 1989. I'm guessing someone changed the stock. Serial number checks out for 1989. I have one just like it. My father bought it for me when I was 14. GLWS

Beautiful gun. Love the A5. Have an old Belgium made A5 that unfortunately, many years ago, someone put an adjustable poly choke on. I would absolutely love to find a barrel from the same time period to swap out.....Sorry, didnt mean to derail your post. Good luck with the sale. Nice shotgun.
