JACKET COLLAR AND STRING INTERFERENCE

How does everyone anchor when it is very cold and you are wearing extra clothing, turtlenecks, or collars that around your neck?

I changed from a basic jacket with a very small collar to a cold weather bow hunting jacket with a larger warmer collar. For the first time ever, upon release, my string is hitting the collar about half the time. I am trying to figure out how everyone else deals with this. Open to any ideas.

My collar is usually turned up and buttoned and balaclava is tucked into the collar. Haven't had any interference.
Just whatever you pick out, bundle up and shoot with it in the yard. That will ID any problem before the real deal.

I have a fleece jacket that does this and I simply fold the collar inward so it stays out of the way--is the only port later that does it.

I have one that gets in the way too. I just fold it back down into the collar.
