Put out red, white and ladino clover. Turnips. Chicory and rape. We also put out some winter wheat. Hope it's a good mix.
I'm not sure how big it is exactly but I would guess 500 yards long by about 60 yards wide in total. Running next to a creek.

Id rather hunt a small hidden plot like that than a big field food plot.Looks great good luck with it.

My only concern with a plot that narrow in the woods is with the amount of sunlight that it gets, along with the amount of leaves that will accumulate - same reasons I havent had much luck with old logging road plots.
Hope yours pulls thru though, it would be a killer setup!

From my experience clover does really well in that style of plot with half sun half shade. Looks good!

I'm pretty excited. Me and a couple of buddies are going to hunt it a little.
It should be productive.. It's right where three hollars meet. I'm sure there is a more technical term.

You must mean feet. If its 500 yards long and 60 yards wide then its 6.2 acres.

Yeah.. You're right. I just did the area calculation and it is roughly 0.295 acres. 12,869 sq feet
