I declare it shed season... most small game just closed, not much worth hunting except bones! I have gone twice already, found multiple bone piles but no sheds yet. Should start to get good in the coming weeks before turkey season.

Put some leather to the ground last weekend... Didn't find any sheds but did pick-up an 8pt that something or someone had taken earlier in the year. Also found a hornets nest for the kids to take to school as a science project.
This is the time of year to get your GPS out and mark trails, travel corridors, and stand sites for next fall.

Have not looked. Pulled the cards off 2 of my cameras today and one buck was on both cameras. in Mid Feb he had both sides (nothing special 3 pt). On the left side he was a spike and broke off about 3-4" up. by the end of Feb. he has his right side still but the left side is gone.
