It’s been a good and fun one

But I'm done shooting!

Killed my first last Sunday on my land and tagged out in the rain this morning on the WMA. Both birds were probably 2 year olds and gobbled their fool heads off. Thank god it was raining this morning and people stayed home .

First bird (the dry one) 9 3/4" beard 7/8" spurs.

Second bird, 8" beard 7/8" and 15/16" spurs.

Neither had anything in their craws, so I guess they had their minds on something else….

Congrats on the birds. I couldn't go last weekend had to work. Now in typical fashion started getting sick yesterday. I might get out tomorrow if I feel any better.

Congrats on the birds. I couldn't go last weekend had to work. Now in typical fashion started getting sick yesterday. I might get out tomorrow if I feel any better.
