The bag mixture sounds good and interesting.

We call these poppers. We do them with cubed duck, deer and elk. Add a banana pepper for a good flavor. Just wrap in 1/2 slices of bacon. Add some pepper jack cheese on top right before you pull off the grill.

One piece of advice - use skewers. It's so much easier flipping than flipping 84 toothpicks over a flame. Although with a smoker, no flipping necessary. They are phenomenal over a charcoal grill

I've done deer poppers but these look fantastic and simple. And then drizzle with maple syrup.

I tried them first time last weekend. They are awesome. I'm going to mess around with it and try a slice of marinated tenderloin in place of the kielbasa. I liked how the cheese crusted over and stayed in place compared to the traditional poppers we do with deer.

Dang man, if some of you guys aren't trying to do something that will kill you, you are trying to eat something that will kill you.

Skewers is a good idea but I wouldn't think you would need to flip these even on the grill as long as it had a lid. They look amazing.
