I'm trying to decide how long to keep the iron clay peas growing. The deer are feeding heavily on the new growth right now, even more than the Eagle Soybeans. The question is do they eat the bean pods after the first frost like a soybean??

Trying to decide if I should bushhog and replant the area in winter wheat or leave it be. The plot started out as a nice tall plot of sorghum, millet, sunflowers, and iron clay peas. At this point the deer have eaten the tops off the sorghum and the peas are mostly laid flat so virtually no cover benefit (I do have a bobcat killing turkeys out of the cover, will post pic of him hunting)

Recommendations or experience?
