People always ask me why I rarely hunt the 40 acres I live on... There's more coyote than deer. They have a lot of rabbit and quail to eat. I had one walk right up to me one time (2 or 3 yards) and calmly walk away. Anyways, I thought you guys might like this first pick and added the others to show how many of the critters there are!

Also here is the Tiger that lives in my back yard lol

Do you ever shoot any of them?

Not yet. I've seen a lot, but never have shot one on this property.
I had a buddy come and hunt them and he saw two, but the land is VERY thick aside from that food plot so he never had a shot. The next week they tried to set me up and the coyote actually came behind us. After that I didn't ever try again. I've wanted to, but I have been busy.

you need a tripod stand if it's thick, something should be done to kill some yotes. If I sat on 40 acres I would do everything I could to make it a deer sanctuary. But that's just me, I don't really know your property.... maybe find someone who likes to trap them? I think trapping might put a dent on coyotes if done right...

Kill one and leave it laying... Coyotes are smart... They will get the idea and head out of town. I have to do this every 3 to 4 years on my place. Once they come back in.. I set up, kill one and leave it laying. We will see one or get a pic of one for around 18 months afterwards.
