I bet that pepper jelly is delicious...our pepper plants have been long gone...working on compost pile now...still layering.
yep too good lol. i deseeded and deveined the cayenne so its just warm and not overly hot. kids and women can eat it. i used 1/4 cup of fine chopped. the recipe calls for jalepeno but you can use any pepper. it goes very well with summer sausage, cheese etc. i tried it on a hotdog and its excellent. going to try the habanero apricot next year.

I'm certain its not as good as homemade, nothing ever is, but Captain Rodneys pepper jelly is good for store bought...and I absolutely love it with summer sausage or salami along with any cheese and a saltine cracker...just delicious.

Good stuff.

One of the sisters from Church brought in a bunch o jalapeños from their garden yesterday.

I see poppers in my future.
