2. No more OTC non-resident Doe tags
3. Looking at changing archery limits


Word is the non-resident doe tags is to eliminate hunters buying doe tag instead of the much higher
Buck tag until they actually kill one

That's weird. I sure hope we don't adopt that statute in Tn. I like that my kids can hunt after the juvy weekend here.

Stik, Illinois is a draw state for gun season.

All youth hunters are allowed to participate in the youth hunt without having to draw a tag. But, in years past, that same youth hunter would have had to have drawn a tag for the gun opener just like adults.

The youth hunt change will now create a loophole that will result in bucks being checked in by kids that never even hunted
Dad will then still have his tag to use. I think that will be more of a "loophole" than the OTC doe tags.

See, even Ill is never satisfied. Eventually it'll be a one day recurve season with a 20" 12 point 180" minimum after rut.

And people will still be crying for more restrictions.

I plan on putting a few cams out on my inlaws property and seeing what i get coming through there. Then i'll buy an over the counter tag for the November mz season. There were 150 something left over in the county there property is at last year.
