I'm with stik. I don't really see the need for it myself. Plus it would be heavier hauling it around hunting them rats!

If you want a bull buy a carbon fiber. Look at green mtn barrels out of conway nh. Nice barrels...good options.

Do you have the carbine model with barrel band or the deluxe model. I had a deluxe model with the 22 in barrel, I free floated the barrel and had a trigger job done on it, 5 shot group at 50 yds you could cover with a nickel. Free float your barrel and try some differant ammo and see what happens.Use the money you save on some quality optics. Just my 2 cents worth lol
