Saddle..cross over point from one hollow to the next in hilly terrain, which is 99 percent of my land to hunt on.
A known bedding area thicket no matter where its at is tops.

For lower elevation or flat land; A slight ridge (maybe only 2 or 3 feet higher in elevation) in a swamp or bottom land thicket.

For big woods; Its a toss up between all 3 you listed, just depends on the area I guess...but I would say a saddle is common in almost all scenarios.

Either way it will be some type of funnel, but my two favorites in hilly terrain where I hunt is either a low gap (saddle) or an intersection of three or more points at the bottom of a hollow. I would have to give a slight edge to the low gap though.

A fence row between two abandoned fields that are super thick. The perfect fence row will have a spot where it widens. This spot will be 50 yards wide and 50 yards long, contain a dozen acorn-producing oak trees, and a few trees large enough to climb.
