Looks like it could be a net/fishing weight? Maybe? If it is an actual native artifact and you get it appraised it could be around $100-300 worth if that's what it is. Unappraised, maybe $50 if you're lucky.

The crocs are worth about $10 used

The only other native stones that I've seen shaped close to that were fishing weights.

I'm leaning toward a weight. Maybe atlatl weight but I'm far from knowledgeable in artifacts.

Not sure but interesting...I would have carried that one home as well...kinda matches some of the arrow straighteners on line but its different with groove going around the end?....could be a weight but not sure....interesting.
