Sold/Expired Husqvarna M46/ old Mauser project

I picked up one of these recently as a project/thank you gift for a buddy & wouldn't you know it, I gone done went & fell in love with the damn thing. It's so slim & trim!

If anyone has one in 8mm or 9.3x57, in pretty much any condition, I would be very interested! I love a project, so rusty, missing sights, trigger etc.... doesn't phase me.

Yessir, based on the Swedish M38 action.
They're super slim, lightweight rifle & exceptional quality for the price. This is one I'm working on right now.....





I don't think they ever found the popularity they deserve over here. Between the metric caliber options (8x57, 9.3x57 & 9.3x62) & the oddball name, they just never took off like they did in Europe. Simpson's have been importing them for a while & there are quite a few around, but most guys reach for the ol ought-six come deer season.
