how's the fishing

Headed to Perry / decatur county area on the TN river. What are they biting on? I want to get a 5lb bass in the boat.

From New Johnsonville to the dam they are on ledges. A deep diving crank,big worm or creature bait would be a good place to start. If you are just looking for that one big one I would throw a swim bait.
