I wear mine 85% of the time. Don't ask me why just depends. But, I just started using a rock climbing harness, and it's much better. I was wearing only a chest harness because I couldn't Stand a full body. I'd say rock climbing is the safest route.

I won't climb a tree without it!!! Hunt from shooting houses a lot now but my harness is always in the truck if I need it.

After falling out of a tree several years ago alone and 200 miles from home, I wouldn't even think about NOT wearing one now.
Btw broke my arm in three places, heck of a long drive home.

Foolish not to imo.
I used to not wear one until i had kids. Used to get in my way while bowhunting.
Now if im in tree i wear it. I have an hss and its long enough to allow me to shoot in almost any direction, except about 75degrees from my back right.

I wear a basic summit harness I think came with a treestand, was given to me, I have no problems with it. Easy enough to put on I can't make an excuse not to wear it

Every time, whether using climber or ladder stand. Originally used the basic one that came with the Summit, but I got tired of wrestling with it every hunt trying to keep it untangled as I put it on. . . now I use HSS.

Always wearing my HSS when in a tree. I've never needed it (knock on wood) but it makes me feel safer.

I used to be bad about not wearing one... After a few close calls I have developed the habit of wearing one... I use a rock climbing harness..

GOOD ANSWER, I PERSONALLY KNOW SOME LIMPING FOLKS WHO DIDN'T. IF YOU'VE NEVER DOSED OFF OR STOOD UP AND FELT DIZZY SOME DAY YOU WILL, BE PREPARED. SOME THINGS :smash: WILL HEAL SOME WILL NOT, DON'T WAIT TO SEE WHICH ONES YOU'LL BREAK. :smash:

+1. Generally attatch it once I get to desired hieght and wear it on the way down

Yes I wear one. I have used the HSS for years but after reading info here and watching a few videos, I will be making the switch to a climbing harness for next year. They seem to be a much better option for self recovery and preventing the circulation issues with the HSS type harness. They are also a much more cost effective solution.
