How do you keep your hiney warm?

In the tree stand - what do you do to keep your butt from getting cold?!

Fortunately, I have a handy layer of fat that insulates well. Why not just use a piece of fur blanket or something?

I don't do it but if I needed to they make handwarmers that have sticky back...stick a couple of them to your kidney area and that should keep all of you warm. Stick em to your underwear if you have to just stay in the stand!

They make these cushions that heat up. I can't remember the name, but I've had to stand up because my butt is sweating too much!

Butt is NEVER the problem for me.

As weird as it may be, my nipples get cold (I know, I know). :whistle: So for me it is hand warmers in a belly muff, toasty toes on top of each sock and two booby warmers.

Only time my rear has been cold is when it rains the night before then freezes, I forget to check my seat for the block of ice that's formed. 30 minutes in and my butt is numb. Oops

I carry at least two cushions to sit on for comfort, so that gives plenty of insulation between my rear and whatever I'm sitting on.

For ease of carrying, I like the cushions that fold up with two loop carry handles so you can carry them like a briefcase. You can also inset a folding stool inside the cushion and carry all your seat gear in one hand. Of course I mostly hunt from the ground.

I invested in a warm bag a couple years ago... I bet I look goofy like a big blob up in the tree but I stay toasty!
