Hoping someone here might have a parts bike sitting around…

I know a few of y'all fool with these old bikes, restore, rebuild, resale them. Would ANYBODY happen to have the rear rack, middle swing section that would fit a 95 300 4x4???

So you found a 300 and it has the rack but not the middle piece that opens up to the compartment underneath? If so I'd get a basket for the back that just sits on the current rack and call it good. That's what I did on mine.

Correct. I REALLY want that little flip up piece for the back rack!!!

Here's the "new" tan one with my old little red work mule. I don't want a basket for it. I've perfected the art of dragging dead deer up on these factory back racks by myself.

I looked on EBay and nearly all of the racks are also missing that section.
Strange- there may be an aftermarket part available for it somewhere.

I haven't found one yet. eBay was my first thought as well. Struck out there. That's why I thought there might be somebody here that fools with them that has a parts bike sitting around somewhere. If not, I could probably fabricate one. I'd rather have a factory/period correct piece though.

Right- making one out of 3/4 conduit would be possible.

I'd do that before I'd pay more than $40 for one.

Looks like the twin to my 99 that's tan too! The rubber pieces that holds the middle piece closed finally broke off mine but recently I added the basket to the back. Already had one on the front. Just makes it easier to keep stuff from sliding off and a little more room. As for loading deer I always slide them the rear fender.

Want to sell me that middle piece??? 😂

This young man has an add on facebook saying that he has several Honda 300 parts bikes. I don't know him and haven't bought from him. Just passing info along.
