After months of getting depressed after seeing nothing but fawns, does and yearling bucks, this guy shows up on a little 30 acre plot. The only time I have seen him. This is a healthy deer.
Do you think he was just passing through?

Nice one! Maybe he'll hang around. Is a good sign he showed up now, maybe he's there to stay!

Very unique rack, never seen a deer with two split G-2's
Hope you kill him, that is a trophy in itself.

Have you had any pics of the smaller buck he's running with in the 2nd pic?

The younger one hangs around frequently. Small fork horn. I haven't saved any photos.

I saw a buck VERY similar to this one 2 years ago. He came directly under my climber a full hour before legal shooting light. I just had to watch him walk to me, cross under and then walk away, never to be seem again.

Out there somewhere someone who has been watching that buck on camera all summer is wondering where he went all of a sudden. Poor shmuck. We just had several new bucks show up over the last week at our place. Happens every year about this time. Very few bucks all summer and the mid October we start seeing them.

Or he could have been hanging with the smaller one all summer and never come in front of the camera... Either way, good luck with him, he is a nice one!

Wow... great looking buck. I'd probably get fired from my job if I ever had one like that on cam. My wife would leave me.. my boys wouldn't have a daddy.... :)

Yeah he was passing through, mule deer aren't native to TN. :D

Good luck I hope you get to put an arrow in him. And good luck sleeping at night too.
