hogs

i live in lawrence county and was wondering where the closest place to hunt hogs is i have heard there are some in wayne county. i think i remember seeing a map of where hogs where located a few years ago i think maybe in hunting guide. does anyone know of any hogs in my area

I don't know where there would be hogs in your area but I gaurantee they are there, somewhere. Florence Al which is not far to the south of Wayne county has a big hog problem. The city police dept has a task force set up to take them out at night.

i have hunted on 7 mile island which is the management area there. there is alot of hog sign, but i have not found them yet. i am thinking of going n sunday afternoon to see if I can find where there are staying.

I have a lease just below collinwood and we are just beginning to see a few of them. I caught a few of them on my trail camera last year and shot at one the year before that. Down in the southern part of wayne county in the cypress inn area there are quite a few.
