Nice review, thanks for sharing. A buddy of mine that works in the food service industry went to a grand opening or something of sorts there last week and it was open kitchen/open bar and a whole lot of fun. Needless to say, when I talked to him the next morning, he was moving at about 1/4 throttle. :)
 
I like how they spent their grooming years in the Motherland. The best food I've ever eaten was in Italy. Italian pizza is a far cry from the American version. I'll be trying this place soon.

One day, I'll have my own outdoor brick oven. And I'll start making pizzas how I remember in Italy. Anchovies, proscuitto, zucchini blossoms, and buffalo mozzarella. Yum.

We met my son and family there for dinner last night and were not disappointed. Ordered all the snacks. The stuffed okra eggs and the aiani were tops in our group. The buffalo pigtails were my favorite with the poutine a close second. They did a cheese pizza for the kids and the adults shared the sausage, the boom-bada and shroom pizza.
The waitress and the wait staff did a great job. Our waitress besides being a doll did not bat an eye when one of the kids broke a serving bowl. She earned her tip plus more.
After dinner the grandsons, their Dad, and I played bocce. Of course the kids won.

Go. You will enjoy yourself.
 
Good review Hawk, sounds like I'll be going soon enough with hopes of getting your waitress. :D In all seriousness, thanks for sharing your experience. It is on my "hit list" in the coming weeks.
