Henry County TN rut

Hey guys! I am form north AL and I am planning a trip to hunt some land off of West Sandy Creek in Henry County TN. I am hoping you guys might be able to tell me rut will be in full swing up there! Please help me schedule a time that will provide me with the best opportunity to see some rutting action. Thanks!

If I were planning a deer hunting trip in TN it would be one of the first two weekends in November. In my opinion this is always the best 2 weeks to hunt deer.

If your huntin around the duck bottoms, they are already puttin water in there so it's prob pushin deer up to higher ground right now.

I will actually be hunting land that runs right along side the duck bottoms. I was unaware that they actually flooded the creek for the hunters! That should have a big impact on pushing the deer up onto our property. I really appreciate that tip!

You've got yourself some good land to hunt right there. Anytime between now and Thanksgiving, but the 10th - 18th is usually my best week here.

When daylight highs are at or below about 55.

Anytime between now and Thanksgiving, but the 10th - 18th is usually my best week here.

My experience has been Nov. 6 -18 with peak being in the middle. The old one week muzzleloader used to fall into those dates and the bucks were always on their feet then
