Sevin dust and more than just your plants. Hit the ground around them too. As your garden grows look under tender new leaves for eggs. If it’s slugs get some slug killer

Think sevin is no longer carbaryl. If you can find real sevin dust with carbaryl, that would work, I usually spray liquid sevin(carbaryl) on plants. I don't know anything about this new sevin chemical or how effective it is.

I have heard and read some people swear by dawn dish soap as an effective alternative but never tried it.

i posted on that subject when they first changed it. i was worried it wouldnt be as good. ive used it since then and dont have any problems, it still kills jap beetles and i use neem and soap for the aphids. i mainly use it on my peach trees and it works about as well as the carbaryl formulation and it has a lower phi.
