I have my sissy bar / luggage rack ordered but since they ain't got here yet I was unable to carry my camera and I really wished I would have.
Started out in Martin with 16 bikes.
Stopped in Gleason and picked up 4 or 5 more.
Stopped in McKenzie and picked up 7 or 8 more, can't be sure.
Left McKenzie and headed down Hwy. 79 with 27 bikes.
Hit Paris, hung a right and headed towards Paris Landing.
Stopped at Hidden Creek campground had a really good barbeque sandwich and a couple cold drinks.
Hung out and listened to a live band for a little while and looked at the 50+ bikes that were there.
Lost a couple bikes out of our "group" since there were 3 or 4 "outlaws" at the campground/store and the dudes with us had pretty prominent "81" and "support the hells angels" stickers on their bikes.
Not sure why they left.
Rolled out of there with 17 bikes, crossed the bridge and headed up Fort Henry Road to the Trace then up the Trace to Golden Pond.
Got off the Trace there and went across the river again and on to Murray.
At this point the group split into three sub-groups due to living anywhere from South Fulton to McKenzie.
Myself and three other bikes hit Hwy. 94 and rolled on in to South Fulton.
Left Martin at 1:45 p.m. and got off my bike at home at 7:40 last night.
The Mustang seat ROCKED.
My back was just a little sore this morning but nothing NEAR what it was or would have been with my stock seat.
I figured the Trace would be kinda boring but it was actually a very good ride. Coming back home on 94 was a blast though. Drove too fast, but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.
Next time I am gonna stay on it and go all the way to I24 then come home that way through Calvert City.
Awesome day.
Oh yeah, total of 248 miles on the ride.
