Whats your first impression thoughts?!!
Don't know if I ever will see him in person or even get another pic of him as I have never seen evidence of this buck before. This image was Monday at 2:30 p.m. and have not seen any sign of him since.
I blurred the rack for a reason as his body should give an indication of why....I will say once in a lifetime deer.
He was traveling and pushed a couple of doe (grunting at them) but basically walked off from them after they avoided him (from video retrieved).
Farm is a mix of hardwoods and pines roughly 100 acres, 5 other cams out that he has not shown up on.

Good luck on him. Have had deer that I had on cams that I never saw and then I have also had deer that never show up on cams until right before I killed them. Funny how some are photogenic while others manage to avoid cameras.

First impression is he's thick, really thick. Time to post the pic of his rack

I'm hesitant on posting these but as he is putting himself out there I might as well. He by all means is not a night runner as the bean field pick I took this morning on the way to work :(
He was in front of my camera at 10:08....he is not staying on me but I have a ton of daylight pics and only 1 night pic of him. Most of my pics are midday and late evening of him.
I'm tempted to take vacay tomorrow and see if I can connect.

I'd definitely go before he has an opportunity get shot by a muzzleloader over the weekend. Best chance is while he's favoring that pattern.

Great buck - love the palmation. We had one like that in 2021 as a 5.5. I was after him and by the time I had him dead to rights, he had bust off his entire right side. I let him walk to never be seen again.

That's a rare specimen! I'd be driving myself crazy trying to get that stud!

I have a blacktail on a property that is an absolute bruiser but I don't have enough pics/video of him to pattern him. I suspect he lives on a neighboring farm where they don't hunt or allow hunting.

Good luck!!! I hope to see your success pics soon!!!
