My buddy is interested in a crossbow. He is an amputee with one arm only. What is a good starter package for him to look into when we head to the stores. PSE, Horton, and Barnett all have good reviews, but what are some experienced reviews for him that are true "stories"? Thanks for your input, I'm sure there will be some colorful reviews knowing how we are with our toys,,,,

Horton has a "crank" deal they offer to chocolate chip cookie theirs with.. At one time they offered a electric cocking mechanisim. I'm not sure but from the picture their crank is right handed.. may be to where you can move it to the left side.. give them a call.. pretty nice people so far at their helpdesk..

With one arm only he needs to get the 10 pt cocking device that can be used with one of those battery powered screwdriver. I knowed that Dan Miller used to & still does attach them on Excal models
