Good knife, but can be dangerous changing the blade. I prefer the outdoor edge razor edge design better.

Whatever you do, don't make the mistake of getting the Outdoor Edge Swing Blade? that had the regular blade and a gut hook that can be opened from the other side. They are junk.

I used one on a mature buck the other day. It was the first time that anything had been cut with it. The blade lost whatever edge it had very quickly, and would barely cut through the hide. Pure junk!

That's weird .. My buddy has one and swears by it. I have the butchering kit and I love it. Easy to use and easy to sharpen. I've probably done 10 deer with it since last Christmas.
