It's that time of year. Do they make it up to Tennessee grocery stores? Who else gets 'em and roasts 'em?

They do grow a mild variety of Hatch chili for women and children.
Down here the high end grocery stores roast them on the spot, but the good hot ones can be hard to find. It has become really commercialized as people try to make $ off of it. It's Hatch chili anything and everything for the next month at the grocery stores. Hatch chili chips, Hatch chili queso, Hatch chili dip, etc.

Vermin93, I have a feeling they aren't familiar with Hatch peppers.
They are here for another week or so down this way (Houston area). My wife and I have bought and roasted at least 10lbs so far.
We've used them in probably 10 different meals plus several different salsas. The Chuy's Hatch Chili sauce is on the agenda when I get home from work Thursday sometime.
