I have to say, although I probably could take a much longer shot with my crossbow than my compound, I don't. Probably because I hunt wooded areas but still.... 130 yards? Nope.

That 130 yard crap is just that a bunch of crap!I wont shoot at a deer over 30 yards with a crossbow!!Long shots lead to deer that just go off and die to not be found,gut shots !!

Another liberal that is a parrot. If you have been there and done that the you can talk about it. Those that have not been there and done that are just a bunch of parrots. I would rather hunt with my vertical bow but I used to shoot so much that I got tennis elbow and couldn't pull the bow back with out a lot of pain. I bought a crossbow and have only killed one with it. Not the crossbow's fault but my decision not to shoot the deer. People think it's a rifle but it's not and those that don't know crap about it talk the most. Just my rant/opinion.
Also to add I don't bow hunt like I used too because of the heat. If you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen, so I do.

I hunted with a crossbow part of one season.
This was back when you had to have a doctors note to do so.
Actually lip squeeked a coyote in from 400 yards and killed it at 25 yards.
Second animal was a doe in KY.
Pulled the trigger and everything went black.
This was before they made them where an idiot couldn't get his thumb in the way of the string.
Ya'll can have all the crossbows.

I have too use one. Or i cant archery hunt. Had several surgeries on my right shoulder. Give me issues now . Too many dirt bike and baseball accidents. Hitting ground too hard a few times. I like for them too get close as they can. Never shot a deer pass 30 yds.

I don't even like to shoot a rifle past 30 yards. Then again I hunt in a freaking jungle!
