I screwed to 3/8 bolts in the rail of my stand about 2 inches apart. I just put the bottom limb between the bolts and let the bow tilt forward. When I need it i can access it with minimal movement.
So do I.
I hold mine the entire time I am hunting.
I would not have killed the deer I did on Saturday,if I was not holding it.
It's worth the effort IMO.
I use a ez-hanger with three pivoting sections. When I am sitting in my Summit, the bow hangs straight out in-fromt of my left arm rest. I think it gets the bow about 3-ft from the tree. I used the two section one for a while, but this thing holds the bow just about where I would start drawing. I think it is perfect.
I shoot right handed..put my bow on my right side whether on an EZ hanger, cut branch or screw in step. I reach over and grab it right by the grip and I'm good to go.
