Does anyone here hunt with a hand gun ? I like to hunt with my T/C Contender in 35 rem out to about 75-100 yrd. off a rest.

Have used my 44mag before and taken a doe with it. I have practiced out to 100yrds with it and my 357. Not sure I would take much more than about a 50yrd shot just for lack of a scope.

Yes! .44 mag ruger super black hawk 7.5 in barrel, 240 grain sp Winchester. 1.5-4.5 variable scope. 50 yards and in. Talk about a blood trail if you hit!

I have a contender in 7-30 waters I have killed deer 100 yds it's a cool challenge.

I had a 7-30 waters 14 in. it and the frame was stollen they left a 223 barrel an 357 .that was laying beside the gun.But they did take a W.F.Cody Win 30-30 that I had bought for my son.

I took two deer last year with handguns. One with CVA Optmia .50 cal handgun and one with S&W .460. The .460 was from a rest in a ground blind at 113 yards. I also have a Ruger Super RedHawk that I'm gonna try to get one with this year.
