Which brand and calls. how many different ones do you really need.

And what's the reasoning for so many calls. Sorry guys I'm really wanting to get into it. And if somebody in west tn would like to go. I got about 1000 acers we can goto so you could show me the ropes

I would get an open reed call and a close reed call...really dont need anything fancy. the first call i had was a closed reed from H&S it was really raspy and what i call my first coyote in with, seems as no matter how many calls i buy that one is always on my laynard. just get a couple and start practicing..go on youtube or listen to some Mp3 or WAV sound of game calls and try to mimick them...and depending on how far west you are...drop me a line, i would love to show you the ropes.

HAVE A TON. MY FAVORITE IS A V2 VERMINATOR. HAS CALLED MORE THAN I CAN COUNT. TWEETY IS NOT A BAD CALL EITHER. PRIMOS RASPY COAXER IS A GOOD CLOSED REED CALL FOR A BEGINNER

I also like the tweety but most of my calling is with a cheap primos hotdog without the barrel. For whatever reason I'm better on it than any other. It has a large reed that makes it easy to change tones from high to low. Can do anything from howls to birds with that one call.

Hunter Drew IMO The easiest and one of the cheapest is the primos lildog and hot dog. I use both with out the horns on them. They are loud and very easy to use. I also have several customs and my favorite of all is the three CRACK predator calls i got. But other than my foxpro e-caller ive killed more with the lil dog. Im over on timberlake wildersville road if you want to come by one day and look and hear some.
