H4831 question

does anyone know how much H4831 will fit in a 25-06 case the berger book is calling for H4831sc and I cant find any right now and have used them both before so I know they are very close I was just wondering if I could get 54g of the regular H4831 in a case

Regular 4831 (just like IMR7828) won't meter very well at all. The extruded powder is too long. The kernels bunch up, or bridge, when loading in to the brass. You have to be on the watch out or you will have powder all over the place when loading throwing charges. So the engineers decided to just cut it in half, which is the SC version. There is no difference in burn rate or anything. I have a nice stash of IMR7828 so haven't had to acquire any of the SC stuff.
