I'm coming up empty on gunbroker on this one.

25th anniversary nwtf remington 870 12 gauge.
New, unfired, dunno if he has a box or not.

Anyone have a clue what it would be worth?

Express or Wingmaster?

Well crap, I don't know that either.
My guess would be express.

If it is an Express, I am not sure it has any value over one you can buy off the shelf unless you find the right buyer. A brand new express, I would be hard pressed to pay over $300.

It one person with the about$50 where should I pick it up? Lol

I haven't had any luck locating one for sale to compare prices.

I think they made both an express model and a "fancy" model. The express model is probably around $300. Don't know about the "Fancy" model.

This is what the fancy model looks like.

IT seems as if those special commemorative guns aren't worth any more than an unadorned model and may even be worth less. I got a real deal on one of the 1990's Marlin 1894's in 32-20 that was a "Ducks Unlimited" gun and I think the fact that it had that DU medallion on the stock rather than just being a regular Marlin 1894 is part of the reason I got a bargain. OF course there may be somebody who is looking for the special editions but trying to find that person when you are selling is not that easy even with the internet.

I have always wondered about commemorative firearms that are not used in the hunting that it commemorates. Why would there be a DU commemorative rifle or a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation shotgun? Makes no sense.

I have always said the same thing. No idea why they do that.

Yeah I refer to it as my duck rifle. :) I agree that it makes no sense to make up commemorative guns for a type hunting they are NEVER used in but it got me into a 32-20 for about half price so I ignore the DU medallion on the stock. Speaking of crazy commemorative guns, I wonder how an Elmer Keith special edition rifle chambered for 270 Winchester would sell? Elmer might come back and use it on whoever promoted the idea knowing how he felt about Jack O'Connor and the 270. :)
