Shot him on 11/9 at 4:20. Couldn't find any blood so I backed out. Went in this morning and found him. He ran 50 yards with no blood, then it started rolling out. He still ran almost 200 yards total. Went through both shoulders and was just inside the hide on the opposite side. Obliterated one lung and clipped the other. 
He was hanging with a doe on a 4 acre point we logged a few years ago. It is so thick in there and more rubs and scrapes and beds in there than combined on the rest of the property I've seen. We haven't stepped foot in there in atleast 5 years. I was on the downwind side of it looking up into it. He was hugging that nasty stuff about 1/4 of the way down. It was about a 70 yard shot. Needless to say I didn't sleep well last night.
They are locked down with does (which is about a week earlier than normal). This deer was on 9 cameras on 3 different ridge systems in October - just everywhere. Haven't had a pic of him since 11/1 (not a pic in 8 days and he has cameras all around him - I thought he had left). But he was right there in the center of our property just hanging with a doe and not moving. Best of luck to everyone.
