My favorite rimfire.I love a good 17. best hunt I had with one of those was in the Colorado plains for prairie dogs. was able to pop those suckers at around 80 yards no problem.
Hard to imagine something that small going that fast!Man I got mine out and shot it the other day for the first time in several years. They are a blast to shoot. Mine was only 25 yds
With the .17, if you are dialed in at 50, you are pretty much dialed in a 0 - 100 aren't you?Goofing off checking the power of the A-17 rounds . New steel drum lid
Squirrel heads be popping tomorrow!
I've got a bsa sweet 16 scope, dial in yardage and it hits where you aim. I missed a squirrel at around 75 yards a couple weeks ago but I hurried the shot. I think there's a good bit of drop between 50-100 but I've never checked how much. With the .17, if you are dialed in at 50, you are pretty much dialed in a 0 - 100 aren't you?
It's an amazing and fun round! I'm searching for fmj now.Love my .17. I have mine touching holes at 100
