Man I got mine out and shot it the other day for the first time in several years. They are a blast to shoot. Mine was only 25 yds

With the .17, if you are dialed in at 50, you are pretty much dialed in a 0 - 100 aren't you?
I've got a bsa sweet 16 scope, dial in yardage and it hits where you aim. I missed a squirrel at around 75 yards a couple weeks ago but I hurried the shot. I think there's a good bit of drop between 50-100 but I've never checked how much.
