Got my new 1911

I went with a Dan Wesson Valor Blue (.45). I really wanted to go shoot it this afternoon but storms are rolling in. I'll wait until tomorrow.

These guns are 73 years apart, but each pretty darn cool in their own way!

I love the old beat up 1911's at least as much as the new ones. They were designed for the battle field and they don't look right all shiny and neat. The 1911 is the only semi-auto pistol I can honestly say looks good to my eyes. I bet that Dan Wesson will be a good one. I'd sure like to have it!
