Got the 50 caliber Late Lancaster rifle out for the opening morning. One patched .490 sitting on 60 grains of Goex FFF real black powder in the barrel, a new English flint, 6 spare ones in the block and a little extra powder in a small bag horn, a 60 grain measure, pan primer with FFFF, a knife, and a beaver tail shooting pouch. All I need is a nice looking buck to cruise by. Good luck Everyone! Keep your powder dry…Aim small miss small.
