I've been hunting our new lease hard for several weeks. I took off work today to hunt with my dad. We got soaked this morning, so decided to get in a box tonight. We have been seeing bucks cruising and just stepping in a field looking for does and going right back in the woods. I decided to bring the decoy this afternoon. Had several does and a 4 point come check it out. Right at dark a nice 6 point that we have hundreds of pictures of chased 2 does in the field and started walking towards the decoy. I dropped him at 140 steps with my Winchester .270 and 130 grain Balistic tip. He's not a monster but he's my first deer on video and first buck off of our new lease!
