I hadn't been able to get to my Giles Co spot until last Saturday and decided to sit in a tree stand instead of my make shift ground blind on the field edge. well low and behold 6-7 doe crossed the field and were out of range.
So i went in this morning at 11:30 with the intent to sit till dark. at 4:10 i had a nice doe come out from my left at about 70 yds. she got behind a tree and just stood there. I could see here hind end and her neck had the 12 ga with slug barrel, which was sighted to 100 yds so I took the neck shot and she was DRT.
Sorry about the pic. I snapped it with my cellphone. I don't take my truck to Giles as it is 65 miles from door to door, and my truck is having some issues right now. I take my car, so I bag em and put em in the trunk.
