Got into it with my neighbor

well,my neighbor now has one of them Boom boxes in the back of his Ford Bronco...and I sure don't care if someone plays music where I CAN HEAR THE MUSIC..but this vibration crap has my windows vibrating nd I cant even hear the TV..So I go out side and its his son and his lil buddy out there griining ear to ear..I yell for them to turn it down and they CANT HEAR ME!So I walk over and told them I don't do this to them or the neighborhood but I will call the police if they keep that up....Oh my,the boys Daddy gets home,opens up 2 Beers and sits on his porch bashing me on FB and turns it into a black/white thing and starts talking about smoking pot,white people call it this,black people call it that,he LOST me on that one,lol....Hahaha...I walk over and we "talk" as he tells me he is getting "SIX of those bass speakers put in his boat so everyone on OLD Hickory can hear it"..
anyways I finally just defriend the guy cause his buddies started with the name calling and telling us we should "turn our tv up" WTF?!..I checked and see after 9pm in Hendersonville,its against the law for that stuff..But what about the other times?
Been good folks up until this besides the cops being over there over his son staying in trouble with them..I just don't understand some folks disrespecting others..
Just venting guys.

Had the same problem, the kid in our neighbor hood had a system so loud it would rattle my light fixture on my ceiling fan in my house. It is a good 80 yards from their house to mine. He would only do it when his dad left for work. I guess he got tired of getting woke up at 4 am on the weekends. LOL.....

Disorderly conduct has no time frame in the statute. In motor vehicle laws it says to be unlawful if it can be heard 50' or more from the vehicle. Both of those would cover thus situation if the vehicle is at or moving down the road.

Technically if you can hear it in your house form their yard it is disturbing the peace.
I took my video recorder and recorded them and called the police and they got busted.
But even before 9 PM it's still disturbing the peace

No matter what, don't lose your temper in front of the neighbors. Just be firm and do what you told them you'd do if it doesn't stop. It all boils down to respect, or lack of it. Any respectable parent would be embarrassed under the circumstances. Guess ya know what kind of parent the dad is.

Well,,So Far good..No more "Boom Boom"..the police DID have to come to my house Wednsday as one of my neighbors saw the kid and his buddy walking into our back yard and thought that looked "fishy" (No pun intended)..well they call me,i tell them to call the police and I called my dad and son,,my son who was fishing at the park comes back home cause I was at work,and the neighbor kid tells my son "man ,me and my buddy drank on of my dads beers and we didn't want him to know so we went behind your house and threw the beer can over the rail road tracks,we wouldn't bothering nothing,"..thecops say "we cant do anything" and watch as the kid cusses out our neighbor (Lil old man,just doing what he thought he should) in front of them...
