Really! Decided to still hunt opening morning and after about a half mile walk and up a big hill, I was sweating like a pig and had to strip down to get my thermals off. Well of course as soon as my clothes are off two does starting walking right toward me. Luckily they turn off the trail and go behind a tree. I quickly put my clothes and shoes back on and try to get to the trail where they came from. As soon as I stalk close to them I hear a deer grunt from the direction they came. Then I see antlers. Shoes are still untied, and I squat low to the ground. Turns out to be a buck on our shooter list so I took the shot. Not the biggest buck but was a fun hunt. Sorry for the long post!
