Got a question for you gurus

I live close to the Hiwassee River and was thinking some of the feeder creeks running into it might have some artifacts laying around them. Any thoughts ?

Very likely. Even more likely if there are any high spots in any fields that borders the creeks or river!

I'm sure there are, I just don't want to get in to any disputes about taking or trespassing to look ok for stuff . I thought it would be good excersise to wander up some of those creeks. I'm really not sure about the legality of it either ?

Yeah I understand the trespassing part if you don't know any landowners. I also can say for sure about the legality of it but I THINK you can pick them up in a creek as long as your not digging
